Things you need.
Plastic polish (aluminum polish will work as well)
1500 grit wet sandepaper
Spray bottle
Your favorite car was
Buffer
Polishing pad for buffer
Microfiber towels
Place the wet sandpaper in a bucket of water for about an hour. Fill the spray bottle with water and about a tablespoon of carwash and shake to blend.
Start by removing your front bumper. This will make this project much esier IMO due to ressesed headlights and the bumper getting in the way.
If there are any significant scratches or swirle marks on you headlights you want to wet sand them to get out all the improfections. To do this you want to spary down the headlights generously with the soapy water as lubracant, begin sanding with the wet sandpaper and respray the headlights with the soap water regularly.
Once you have removed all improfections to your satisfaction you are ready to polish. You may also skip to this step if all you want to do is clear up the hazzyness of you lights.
Apply polish generously to the headlight. Use your buffer on its lowest speed and let the buffer and polish do all the work. After polishing wipe off any leftover polish with a microfiber cloth.
Depending on the results you are looking for you may need to go back and repolish or sand the lights again.
This is my first writeup and may not be the greatest, but this will give you a general idea of what to do. If you have any questions just post here or hit me with a PM. Also this will work on any hard plastic lighting.
Now for some pics
This is the 94-97 headlight I used for close up shots after doing my headlights. This headlight had some overspray and bad hazzing
