How to respray hubcaps?? need help!

my friend gave me hubcaps that had some curbage on them and i want to repaint them so it can look new or at least better! can any1 help me with this?
is it better to sand it down first? so let me know what grit i need..
what grit of sandpaper
what kind of paint (stock looking hubcaps color like silverish?..)
what brand of paint
i just want to paint them look like the same as those other honda hubcaps! silverish?

use 320 grit and use some paint that has a strong hold to plastic duplicolor has got to have some thing that will hep you

320? hmm u dont think that its too rough for the caps? what kind of color of duplicolor should i get cuz i want it to look like Factory silver...

you should stop typing in bold.

and just go take a look at the paints. i doubt they have the oem silver. but im sure they have something close, and most people will not notice if they are a little off.

hmm... so what about the sandpaper?? is it good to use the 320 grit? anybody else have any thoughts about these??

ok wel the grit may be a little aggresive but how big are the curb marks and pis up pic it might help...so ppl can tell u what to do just a thought.......!!!

They are just hubcaps.

hit it with some 500 grit and throw some color on there, touch-up when needed.

save the money instead of painting and just buy some new damn hubcaps... they are like $10

if u know where i can get these hubcaps for $10 like u said then why not!! cause Honda Sells them for $104 a piece!!! and thats with my friends discount!!!
