i had already mounted it before i put the intercooler on,didnt even think about it,im going to pull it off and just use the very outside bracket and make it stronger to just use one bolt. im lazy. plus that was a quick thing to keep from getting another ticket. gotta save money for boost

What I was getting at is that if a person wants to have the 'above legal limit' tint then they would be required to provide/pay for the added expenses. Just like paying for personalized tags...you pay more for them.Spork;176472 wrote:first half, sure I agree... second half totally negates the point of the first half... how much will if cost to print that sticker for the plates, how much will it cost to run background checks and train/test applicants? Its a lot of work for something like window tint

it keeps the sun off me, my daughter, and my interior. Makes the AC work better, and keeps thieves from seeing anything that may be in the car to steal. People that know me are aware that I wear sunglasses ALL THE TIME during daylight hours. Blue eyed people are more light sensitive, so for me it's also a comfort thing too.MidoriMiller;178199 wrote:LOL i will never understand the super dark tint thing
My thing with tint is that I like to look of it as long as it's the same shade all around...but the legal front limit is too light in the rear to really make that much of a difference (IMO). I got pulled over (1st time with the 09) on Mother's Day for my front windows. MSHP officer measured them at 14%...whoops. Kinda irks me that they can pull you over solely on the fact that my windows were too dark, but that's another argument.

yeah, not always possible to avoid the POPO. when I had the eclipse, I had an officer tell a friend of mine that he'd be waiting for me to leave work so that he could ticket me for my tint. the ticket i got on Mother's Day was just plain crappy timing. If I'd have left 15 seconds later from the restaurant, I'd never have passed the trooper on Kingshighway.forcefed;178121 wrote:or dont get caught
