Fog lights as head lights?

As some of you know I have a 1st gen RX7 with the big round lights that stick way up. I was thinking of making a small bracket with 2 smaller fog lights(high and low beams) on each side. Would this be street legal?

ummm, i would probably fail it. the fog lights just dont discharge enough light to take place of the original headlight my friend derek had them on his sunfire(rip) and they sucked (fd aero head lights).

They do it down here all the time, you can get the silverstars which are brighter then your stock lights and they even have different like amp bulbs for a brighter light.

As for where your at I haven't a clue if it's illegal there but I wouldn't think it would be.

seen it done many a time , and i rocked fog lights as my main lights on my crx for a while. (bought it wrecked and has slowly putting back together but wanted to drive it )

here is a OLD ass pic of the crx when i first got it (it had NO front end on it at all so thats why there is a bs ugly ass front bumper on it)

Ive seen integra brights turned into foglights....looks pretty kool, I say go for it!!.... I doubt cops will be that picky to pull you over just fog ... hell your not even surpose to have a HID kit on your car, only OEM HIDs... but ive had my hids kit on my car for like a year w/ no problems.. If cops bug you just throw in a switch for the fogs

well if late 80's-early 90's Camaros can pass an inspection that measures light output, i don't think you'll have a problem with using the fogs.

i have an 05 ford 4 door and my fog lights are brighter than my headlights....everyone always bright lights me when they are on dim
