Grade of gas
I heard the only the best gas can be used. Is that true?
I'm looking into possibly buying one in the future.

I have heard alot of people not getting anywhere near the advertised gas milage. Also when you buy one make sure the previous owner did the battery replacement, that shit is not cheap.
Seriously there are a lot of reviews and other info just laid out online, google is your friend.

why fuck with all that hybrid shit when all you need is a d15z1 if you want 50+mpg.
fuck, honda was making 50mpg beasts 20 years ago (crx hf) and now everyone is about hybrid shit.

Wow
I'm currently fixing my first 89 civic lx w/ a 1.5. It needed a new head. Found one at the junk yard and spent @ 6 hours cleaning the damn gasket off. Hope all this work pays off. My current trucks get only about 20-22 mpg. With these gas prices that will not work. Thanks for responding!
Cheers!

OP:
I've actually thought about buying a deisal and converting it to run on the grease crap. Read that the gas prices are suppose to spike again another 20-30 cents by summer.
