For YOUR last ride of the season. (2-wheels)
If you dig some back-roads and want a scenic drive, take a ride to the Golden Eagle Ferry and cross over into Calhoun County, IL. Made the trip out there last Friday and just spent the day lazing around out there. Gorgeous scenery, I saw about 10 cars in 4 hours, perfect storm.. Roads are generally about a lane-and-a-half and some of the turns are on a 25+ degree angle. Occasional gravel, but just be smart and keep your eyes open. If anybody makes the trip, hit me up.

I go out there all the time. Usually stop and have lunch at barefoot in Hardin.

I used to deliver soda to a place over there. It's like an old country dinner type place. The roads are awesome in a sprinter van so I can only imagine with a bike lol

@Kolk1 It was my first trip out there, so I got a little turned around more than once. I just did lunch at that little bar right by the ferry. I'll have to try Barefoot next time I'm out there though. Do you ride or drive out there?
@sharpie yea it's pretty great, those hard banks make going 50 miles an hour an adrenaline rush. I took it pretty easy my first time out there, but I was tempted for sure lol. Buy a bike next season!
