Ruckus? Good Idea?

Post by bemberg2 »

Currently I have an EK Hatch and am thinking of selling it and getting a ruckus as a DD. What are people's thoughts? Get the ruckus and keep the civic? Sell the civic and get the ruckus? Or just keep the civic and be happy?

I would not just have a bike as a DD. This is St. Louis, we have rain snow and ice.

Ruckus's are definitely really fun, but I don't know about a daily. You can't go on the highways, unless you get the gy6 swap which makes it 150cc's. Also STL weather changes everyday, and you do not want to ride these in the rain.

I say keep the civic, and maybe one day buy a ruckus for fun. I have my rsx as a daily and mod the ruckus lol.

yeah, i hear the rain and snow complaints. but my real DD is the metro, so i won't need this for the commute. it would be a point a to b device. but i can see how a regular car would still be necessary in stl. maybe chicago or seattle i'd get away w/o it. thanks for the input.
