Im rebuilding my Cr125r after the crank went out. Well i have all of my parts and the head and machine work is done. I want to clean the bottom end out like wash it and shit. How do i go about this? Like what do i use to wash it with? Warm water and soap? What kind of soap?
Thanks Tim

use brake cleaner.. i like walmarts supertech brake cleaner the best. it sprays out the hardest and is also the cheapest.

In the Clymers book i bought from honda for the bike it says "Clean both crankcase halves and bearings with solvent. Then reclean in hot, soapy water and rinse in clean clear cold water".
Dry the case halves and bearings with compressed air if available. When drying the bearings with compresses air, do not allow the air jet to spin the bearings. Instead, hold then inner bearing races to prevent them from turning. When the bearings are dry lubricate them with oil.
So for the solvent part use what u guys suggested? Also for the oiling part i can just use the oil im gonna be putting in the engine?
Thanks for the help
Tim
