Mad treble for the integra

Post by B16aRS »

Ok guys, i have a 96 Acura Integra with 2 10" pioneer subs and stock speakers. The bass sounds good and is loud and clear. I wanna up the door speakers now for something with a lot of treble. I want as much treble as bass and i want it to hurt my ears that its so loud and clear.

So i realize if i want this treble im gonna have to amp my door speakers but i wouldnt think of amping my stock speakers.

Im not very familiar with what RMS and all the terms are. Like if its 100 Peak power do i want 100 watts going to that? RMS, PEAK, crossovers, etc what am i gonna want for treble?

Would you guys please recommend to me what i should get for what i want.
I need to know type/kind of amp, speakers front/rear, and tweeters.

Well christmas was coming up so i was gonna figure out what i wanted and have my parents get it for me. I am also confident that me and my dad can install it. I mostly want my car to sound like my buddies 350Z. He has boston acoustic SLAs or something. It sounds insane. He doesnt have dynamat either. When you listen to that swag surfin song in the beginning it goes screeeech and it hurts your ears and is super noticeable. Price probably 300ish for something. Should i be able to get a decent setup for that?

i have had boston acoustics for the past 5 years and they're still ear piercingly high and clear. i still recommend them. good bang for buck.

Chris(n2hifi) is definitely the one to talk to on here for stereo, but really, what are you looking to achieve with your setup?

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Hope this helps
