I used to be an audiophile, but now I'm not so much into audio, and want to just get some speakers
This here is a Soundsplinter 15 inch Dual 2 ohm Voice Coils. Thing is designed for SQL, but it gives much SPL as well
I took her out yesterday to change the wiring. This thing is HUGE. and HEAVY. I think something like 45lbs. Because my 12 weighs 40lbs.
It was wired to 1 ohm, pulling 1200 wrms from the amp.
I was afraid it may do damage to my alternator so I went ahead and changed it.
I wired it down to 4 ohms, pulling 425 wrms from the amp, and boy it still sounds so good, and get s very loud.
and yes sadly enough its home is a shitty prefab for now :/ no room in the teg for a 15.
The huge magnet! and the VCs wired at 4 Ohms.
