anyone running the new MTX super amp's..?

i sent in my thunder 81000d last week, they sent out my new TA7801 yesterday... i cant wait for it to get here... it is supposed to be a pretty sick amp...

it will be running my tarantula T4-12 12'' sub... i had two but one got f-ed up for a stupid reason...

here's the box i threw together... 1.54cf ported (approx)

also, this box beats like Ike Turner...

I cheap, better looking alternative to black paint, is a spray on ryno lining. Will look tons better. Its like $7 a can at autozone or oreillys.

From what i remember form working at American, that was one of the better amps that they carry, looks good and is easy to use. thumbs up for you!

haaaa, i went old school with the black spray paint...

i will check into the lining spray, sounds like it will look pretty good...

witch one are you referring to... the thunder81000d or the new TA7801..?

i loved the 8100d but it started to d/c and blew my subs... me not knowing what had happened bought a new set of subs and they got blown out as well... that wasn't enough, i hooked up my JL w3 d2 15's i had... ya, it was a sad day when they also blew out... i finally took my car to a friends work (ultimate electronics) and finally found out what was happening...

this new amp, from what i hear is going to kick some ass... :rambo:

The ta7801, we only had one MTX amp with a higher rating and that one cost $1000, i think that was the ta81000

i should have the new amp on monday or tuesday...

i checked the tracking number on the fed ex site and it showed my package was shipped on the 8th and is STILL in phoenix... wtf??? lol

The Thunder Axe amps are very wicked. You should be very satisfied.

BTW- what are the specs on your box?

tuning frequency/volume?
