Unless you are going to amplify them Type Rs really are not worth the extra money. Type Ss are nice, but it sounds like you will get the most bang for your buck out of the Memphis speakers. I have installed lord knows how many infity reference speakers and they all sound very tin-e with out an amp.

I'm actually probably going to end up selling my Type S components so I can buy bravox audio components.. time for a upgrade!

Type S and R sounds pretty good if you have an amp hooked up to them. But any components system you install I would suggest useing an amp to run the speakers, for the best sound quailty..

an amped up set of pheonix gold zero point components sounds better than anything you will ever hear again in your life!!!! (trust me)!

The old Orion Hcca components,and MB Quart Components are the best imo!
