Lag lately has been abnormally bad.

i took ten minutes out of work this afternoon and did some tweaking on the shoutbox. please, let me know if the site is running better, worse, or the same. input from everyone and their brother is appreciated.

ps. for you vip memebers, the private shoutbox is gone momentarilay since i think that was the main part of the lag issue.

and stolle, i would think that there is no problem with the database. what my intrepretation of it is, there would be no need to repair data for an overload on queries on the server. too many queries means too many requests being processed, not bad data.

I take that back. Lag is worse than ever right now.

Shoutbox: for me each shout takes about 8-13 sec to show up when it used to be instant. Sometimes they dont show up and I have to refresh and when it refreshes there is about 4-8 shouts from when I hit refresh

Actual sit: it seems to be running slower for me. It takes a while for pages to load and sometimes it will pause after making a post for 30 sec

when I hit post reply it took about 28sec to redirect me to the page hope this helps

So far the main pages seem to be working faster. Getting from one page to another only takes about 8 sec now
