have mods stop changing what people say in shoutbox

so far on a few different occasions ive noticed a particular mod on here changing what people say in the shoutbox. sometimes it could be petty but sometimes it gets kind of insulting. and its always towards a girl. i know there are very few girls on here so why try to run the few we have off? i thought the mods were here to help run the site not badger the women.

I have done this many times in the past, simply out of humor, but I can understand how it can cause issue.

I realize this was locked but I am going to add I also have done it out of humor as well and I usually change it back or delete it if the humor is lost on people. Specifically I know the instance that sparked this and it was me. It was ment in good fun and was very obviously jokingly done. It was nothing explicit or anything out of hand and I will not do it anymore as I can see some cannot take a light hearted joke.

If you have been here for more than 10 minutes when I am here you know I am not doing it to hurt anyones feelings or whatnot. I realize I should understand some people are more sensative/ fragile apparently and also some people do not understand the perspective of the internet being a less than serious place, esp. in this setting when its pretty casual conversation.

On a side note, dont be so dramatic and blow this out of proportion. It is hardly the mountain of an issue your trying to portray.
