more tech?

A couple of us were discussing this last night. Stlhondas is a cool place but I just dont see enough tech. And when someone asks a question and then someone else responds with "search" thats cool and all but the more we answer questions for people the more friendly we sound and the more information we build up on the site not to just rely on ONE thread.

I know a couple of other sites im on if I search say for instance "ATTS light" I get ATLEAST 2 pages of information. Its good to read through the threads and gain more knowledge and the more I read about it the more it sticks in my head.

I just feel that this site isnt "tech" enough and its more for a hangout place. Which is cool but I would honestly rather here about the sweet write up someone did on whatever then the funny pictures thread. BUT thats just me.

If you want more tech, then add it(like your oil thread). the site is what the users make it.

EDIT: i am also in the process of compiling alot of information for a surprise.

Rick what about a tech writeup section to keep raw information in one place?

that has been discussed plenty of times... write-ups should go in whichever tech section that they pertain to.

Which I agree with Steve. And people dont need to be afraid to post somehtign from another site its just as informational if its writen up by someone else. They just need ot state where they got it from.

I think the tech is just fine, if I ask a question on here it's because I couldn't find it on one of the big sites.

Which in all honesty nate theres MAYBE a handful of people that could answer those questions. So if we make the tech section BIGGER more people will have the knowledge on how to do things, and not just 4 or 5 people can answer those questions.

Would you like me to start copy and pasting every technical thing I find on the internet that has to do with a honda or cars in general.

If you can't figure out how to work google, then I doubt a tech section can help you.
