on a side note, I love that I can spend a half an hour playing devil's advocate to rick and fight to convince him to create a suspension section, which I could have given a fuck less about making, because I get bitched at in private and by my friends that we NEED one, and no one says anything or thanks me for essentially badgering Rick until he gave in and gave you all YOUR way.
But I tell people to post diy's without rick making a special section first, and I get told that this site is 'going downhill fast'. God fucking damnit Rob, grow up and show some fucking respect.

DIY section is a great idea and a good way to learn about your car. I love the articles and DIY threads on TI. They really come in handy from time to time.

DIY section is useless, this is a local community board, NOT a large everybody can work on their car site like H-T, team-integra, club civic, super honda etc.
we use the board to shoot the shit, answer a cpl minor tech questions, show off our cars and make meets that all.

There are only a cpl people on this site who actually work on their car other then minor stuff, So why waste a bunch of bandwidth on the server for useless stuff people will never use anyways.

Plus all the DIY's would be put up by the only people who ALREADY work on their own cars

ANYTHING ANYBODY would ever do to their car has ALREADY been done by at least 50 other people in the world and are already posted up somewhere on some other site, hell half my DIY's show where i got the info from

So what we need more then anything is a HOW TO USE THE SEARCH BUTTON (on google) more then anything else.

People talk shit about how the board is going down hill but yet they offer no explanations, or suggestions they just wanna bitch about something and then go run off to other useless boards with even more useless shit going on.

so as far as a DIY blah useless and not necessary, just like the suspension and product review forums.

the only thing about diy threads is sum ppl leave stuff out and that can mess things up in google land u can look stuff up but u will get the same info that u would get from stlsr...team-integra...and any other site u look @ so everyones right..to an exstent not enough diys to make a section and if we did there would be nine or ten posts and they would all be done by like 4 or 5 ppl so scrap the idea....next topic please....just my thought on it...u can put any in for under the honda or acura topics anyway...so make that ur diy sections for each type of car...just remeber when posting u leave out a section or miss a step its on u not the site..for half assing a post just to show what u think u can sort of do..
