instead of having a page where you click a picture to get to the forums, why not have a portal page that has all that and extra stuff.
sort of like stlsr.com but you can change it to how you want it...add in extras and what not.

ill need to double check, but i think the portal is a part of vbadvanced. which costs money, which i dont have. so... unless someone or a several people donate, its not gonna happen. ive spent a ton of money on this site to hear people say they want more, but want me to pay for it all. this will be like most other ideas like tshirts, license plate holders, hoodies, hats, etc... people will say for me to get, i say i dont have money, then people basically say i dont have money to help fund, but when you get money ill buy one.m6speed;58652 wrote:instead of having a page where you click a picture to get to the forums, why not have a portal page that has all that and extra stuff.

also, eventually.... my idea for the front page would be a history of different hondas/acuras (civic, integras, accords, etc). history as in what years the generations were/are, specs, etc. then add some how-to's and do it yourselfers. then also make a section to put pictures and a summary of our meets. (like the babler state park thing coming up and the dyno day.) basically for the front page, have a knowledge base of hondas and acuras.
my problems with the above idea is that i havent had the time to gather the specs/info and as for as the how-to's and then put them in web format. ive been working two jobs and doing side work and family things. i mean i would like to make it out to bubble tea more often than i do (twice) and would to go to sonic, and to go to midnight madness, but im busy working. theres not much more i can do to my car that i can take pictures and write the how to at the same time. unless someone would take pictures and write up their own how-to's or do it yourselfers and then give it to me to put up on the site, its only a dream. as for as the third, (pictures and summaries of past meets) ive just been lazy and/or busy and havent got around to it.
but, thanks for the idea. and like i said, ill have to check on it.

that would be due to administrator not administering it correctly...btlfedgolf;58679 wrote:Ok, is it just me or does the STLSR on not work if you actually try to click on anything but "forum"
