Do you think it would be benificial to have this section? So that people can use it for future referances. I have a how-to but I don't know where to exactly put it.

I have talked to Rick about this same thing before. I think he said something about he would like one but you have to take pictures of the process or something like that because I did that with my headlights.

Thats fine. I know where I can get a lot of DIY/How to's from other boards. I don't see how everything would need a picture as long as its a good enough description/directions.

I think the DIY should be actually written from our members, not just ganked from another site. .02

It wouldn't really be ganking. I have used some of them before. I just don't feel like re-writing them over. I would rather just copy or link it. It would be stupid to just wait for someone to do something to thier car and then do a complete write-up. Odds are, that person found the how-to on the net anyways.budget_crx;34313 wrote:I think the DIY should be actually written from our members, not just ganked from another site. .02

yet that is still leading people away from the site. anybody can google a DIY to find what they want to do, so instead stlhondas would be a search engine? I just think that we have a ton of knowlegeable people on here that can write all of these write ups with ease, they just haven't done it. I have seen sites that reward people for legit write-ups, I think something like that might be a good idea and it might encourage others to share thier nowledge and keep it on a local source. besides, you can't call up someone over the internet to check and see if you did it right...SweetEBPSi;34332 wrote:It wouldn't really be ganking.
