i believe that i need to keep the blue background in the heading, so if we drop the black background on this logo, youre left with blue logo on blue background... not good..

Those were all 3 minute jobs, just to get an idea. i didnt spend 30 minutes on it to try and make it special.

I just think the logo on top looks like crap now.

picky picky... it took me 30 minutes just to put the white there. also, black around the red wont show up much because of the blue background.
WHOOO WHOOO!

and I think it looked fine the way it was, I could read everything without problem... its all about your monitor settings

Rick- can you PM me that logo image without the white around it?

is this readable? I used the outer glow effect in photoshop to try and illuminate the text just a little bit... but I have an LCD monitor, so I can't tell if it is any more visible on regular CRT monitors or not... Image

I don't think I need it at this point.

like I said, I like that more than the white, but I don't know if it's bright enough for our, *ahem*...picky... members.
...I can also brighten or darken the glow a little if need be.

I like that one A LOT better, and the H and A logo would be cool.
