how bout a general information section under each make honda, acura, etc. it would make general info for interchangeable parts easier to find. things like tranny specs throttle bodies and such. at least under honda since b-series come in acuras and most people put them in their civics...

what about the B16 found in HONDA Civic SI's (USDM)? What about the B20 that comes from the HONDA CR-V (USDM)? Come on man you gotta think outside the box!!!:toilet_claw:stolle;2343 wrote: ...since b-series come in acuras and most people put them in their civics...

no poop, what about putting a b20 in a civic what about a b18c in a crx, i found myself wanting to post general information like tranny specs and throttle body sizes for b-series and d-series, were would they go? it pertains to both honda and acura some cases d and b-series. this kind of information in some way is useful for both makes why not make it, its own section? ie: a b-series and or d series area or maybe just a technical area aimed only towards engine and drivetrain. where someone could go ask specific questions or make comments on a b18c5 or d16z6 and not have to sift through pages of posts on other things that are completely unrelated...Silver Knight;2411 wrote:what about the B16 found in HONDA Civic SI's (USDM)? " '89 CRX Si EF7 Turbo powered " considering honda made 350 of the ef7's are you sure your not ef3 or eg5 powered? you should word that different its confusing. sounds like you have an 89 crx si ef7, thats powered by a turbo...

where the hell did you hear that they made only 350 EF7s?? they made 350 exclusive Edition EF7s in 1989, then there are all the other Sis from the rest of the years!stolle;2473 wrote:made 350 of the ef7's are you sure your not ef3 or eg5 powered? ...
It is definitely not an EG engine because it is OBD0, the one I bought the other day though, is from an EG. But I will admit it might have came from an EF3, but it is the same engine, just different chasis. and I would like to think it came out of a CRX
youre reading the statement differently then i did when I made it maybe this will help you understand it: 89 CRX Si, EF7 Turbo Powered
