i raced a 2011 5.0 couple weeks ago in ....
stock with good tires i might say. from a dig, no chance he walks me.
from a 20 roll with a friend in my car, he pulled me by about 5 cars by top of my 4th gear. and with a friend in his car, he pulled by 4 at the top of my 4th gear. the new 5.0's are definetely faster than the new camaro ss', stock for stock.

guess your new sig should v8killa occasionally. hehe, the new coyote motors are badass, they will still be a pain in the ass until ford ditches the ohc bs........cam installs on new fords suck

These motors respond really well to boost too. Making over 600hp on 6psi with a single 64mm Hellion kit in a 6 speed. Nasty.

New 5.0 are beast. My buddies forged bottom end\heads\ls6 goods\big cam ls1 6speed/373s lost to a 5.0 with just a tuner\gears\exhaust

dose anyone know if they are still rocking the 3valve heads? i havent dont to much research on them but from what i have heared with a set of slicks and a 100 shot they have been running 10's

No, they have a new 4valve head on them. And I think they've still been running a full exhaust, drag radials, cai and a shot and been going low 10's with the auto, which is actually a little quicker than the manual now, IRRC
