honestly a auto GTO probably isn't worth more then say a high 13 or low 14 sec pass (this is confirmed on ALOT of websites). I watched countless GTO's struggle to make a 13 sec pass with decent mods much less a stock one run 13's.

SO that being said your potential 13 second hatch beating up on a 14 second car seems just about right.

i didn't know age was a factor when it comes to racing an automatic car doing a 20mph roll, because i've seen 13-16 yr olds at the race track.

and claim what you want about how slow they are, i've seen g8's which is the 4 door version of the gto, running 13.3 at gateway. so stop with the lame excuses.

curb weight is 2975lb, so you were wrong as well. prove me wrong on all my other specs too. about a stock 09 cobalt ss, and a stock 6.0 gto auto.
i seem to know more about certain chevy specs than chevy owners.

and if all i have posted on these 2 GM cars are wrong. prove me wrong and show the factory specs, car and driver spec.

You're wrong, plain and simple. I've checked 3 different websites for the specs on both the sedan and the coupe SS and got different weights than you but that all match each other:

Coupe:
Measurements

* Gross weight: 3918 lbs.
* Curb weight: 2926 lbs.

Sedan:

Measurements

* Curb weight: 2981 lbs.

GTO (6.0):

*Curb weight: 3725 lbs.

The GTO is an overweight car that was meant more of a cruiser than a race car. Also seems that they better from a roll than a dig cause of the crappy IRS in the cars. The guys with the G8s are also able to run better because of a revised suspension and the fact that they're all autos and the ones in them are superior to the ones offered in the GTOs. The only G8s that are manuals is the GXP version.

Not my fault that you don't know how/where to check your facts before posting something.

2975 lb 290-300 whp cobalt ss, even better than gto hp/weight ratio, faster

2500 lb 180 hp civic, hmmmm!!! overweight for its power output, under power, slowest

How does your car weigh 2,500 lbs. without factoring your own weight into the equation?
