A Few Kills

I've had way too many kills in the DSM, but here's a few.

I had my Eclipse for about 5 minutes when an EF hatch (DX) comes rolling up acting ricer. Him and his buddy call me out, so I say "whatever". I kept my car in 3rd (I was cruising and still getting used to the car) and he pops his into 2nd. I hear him on the throttle hard while I just got on it slightly more. THe guy couldn't catch me and at the next light I see his passenger laughing at him. I laugh myself and take off home.

On my way back to Los Angeles from Corpus Christi, Tx, a Mustang GT was staring at me at the light. When we hit the freeway, he starts (trying) to play around with me, so in 3rd gear we both go at it. I just see him start falling back, so I slow down and let him catch up. We had somewhat of a second run (I had to switch to the main freeway) while he stayed on the original highway. I smashed him that time.

I got beat in this one:
I was in NorCal cruising when a '70-'71(ish) Nova (dumped exhaust, dual carbs coming out of hood) pulls up behind me. Well, he gets to the side of me and we decide to run (he was an older guy). I was on his ass, but with slight traffic conditions (its hard to explain, so think of the other cars as chess pieces if you will, that were keeping me from doing so safely). He pulled on me 1 or 2 times (not far, maybe a car length), but I quickly caught back up (on his ass). When he exited the freeway, he gave me thumbs up, so, being the good sport I am, I returned it. It was a badass V8, I'm not going to lie. We definately gave each other a good run.

At the time he was pretty much stock. Exhaust, "intake", next Turbo up from stock (stock is a 14B, next upgrade is a Small 16G. Sister Turbos), and hard piping. I was only boosting 12psi.
