Well I just got back from some fun runs.
Vehicle Notes:
98 Mustang GT
2000 gt motor, Flow master cat back, h-pipe, headers, intake, mass air flow sensor, throttle body, full msd ignition, pulleys, 3.73 gears, short throw shifter, performance clutch
77 Camaro z28
Full exhaust, built 350(cam ect.) , 4.11 gears, 4-speed manual
01 S2000
stock as a rock
1st run: Me and the z28 lined up, from a stop, left on 3 honks, I pulled immediatly off the line and ended at about 115mph with 3 or 4 lengths
2nd run: Me and the z28 again. This time he had a good launch, but my launch was almost perfect. I got him off the line and his front bumper was at my rear wheel, it stayed that way till about 113mph and then he pulled a half a car in front and thats how it stayed till we shut down at about 125mph.
3rd run was with the gt. I got the launch and just pulled on him till about 80 then my pull stopped. I shut down at about 100mph with a good 4-5 car lead.
He didnt have a good launch.
I was really suprised that the z28 pulled on me at such high speeds
