Just so you know, i have a sir spec-s h22(you know what that is dont you?) in my car with a m2b4 and the basic mods. Ive raced and beat some cars that run high to mid 13's (an 04 lighting for one and a lt1 z28) so any of you guys with b16 and b18 civics or tegs with bolt ons want some come get it.

if it didn't have leather's what kind of seats did it have (cloth obviously) but what kind? did you look under the hood at all? all 3rd integras in the states have b18's in them so that tells me nothing. just because he jacked up the car to show u a itr tranny doesnt necessarily mean he has an itr engine. did you happen to see the VIN number of which number ITR it was (they all have them). since you know him now please take pics of the car inside and out. he shouldnt mind u taking pics and posting it if he wants to prove his is a real itr. :2cents:

If you want a race against a bone stock ITR, you may want to get a hold of the Werdehausens from New Bloomfield and race their yellow one. It is 100% bone stock since day one.

Yeah bax told me they wanted to some time but never brought it out when I was down in jeff. This one is a older model for sure I know the newer ones had a little more balls. Id run the hatch man I know you one of the only Honda guys in mid mo that knows wtf hes doing (besides bax).

what exactly do you mean the "newer" ones had balls? they made the exact same power when they were brought here in '97 as they did when they ended production in '01.

My ITR setup won't be in the hatch. I"m putting it in a heavy ass 98 EX coupe... Shouldn't be too impressive on the straights but I have some stuff up my sleeve for the turns. Here at the lake, that's about all we have so I figured I should build the car to turn more than I should to make it go straight only.

the type r mike raced was a real type r.. i know the guy who owned it forever and recently sold it. i even put the clutch in it.. very clean type r!

and theres no way he dropped it into 2nd on the highway with a type r trans LOL

thank you bax, well whatever gear he put it in he shifted almost right after he down shifted (unless that tranny has that short of gearing) it sounded like 2nd to me lol

yea type r's pretty much have the shortest gearing of all honda transmissions..
