Mustang GT

I was cruising around and the 03-04 Mustang GT Conv. gets in front of me and starts reving his exhaust, his friends in it keep looking back and smiling. So I think why not, Ill play. We get to a stop light and are both turning right to a two lane. He gets in the left lane and im in the right lane. I get up next to him and look over and he is smiling, so keep scooting up and slowing down and even point ahead to see if he wants to play. He didn't do anything so I shift up to 3rd at 40mph (which is at 4k rpm) to continue on my way, then the dude punches it, his back bumper is at my front when I punch it but Im in 3rd. He barely inched away.

I was so pissed because at the next light the dude turns off, I didn't even get a fair run in and the douche probably went on his way thinking he won.

I'm still mad

Just kiddin, but don't you hate when that happens? Thats almost worse than a ricer flyby followed by hazards.

Worst of all, he probably made a thread on a shitty Mustang forum saying how he beat an S2k and now all these HS kids that have a GT are going to go around town saying their car is faster then an S2k, yet none of them raced one. Pfft.. for some things the Internet ISN'T good.

EXACTLY why I was mad, His buddies in the car were prolly like "Oh ya man we just whooped s2k".

I dont normally race on the street, but when your revving your engine at me and looking back at me laughing, someone has to put you in your place.

What really pissed me off is after he antagonized me to race, then acted like he wasn't going to, then when I upshift to go on my way he takes off. WHAT A BITCH!!

Whats funny is that he only pulled a 1/2 car on me, I would have loved to see what would have happened if I was in 2nd and actually in vtec.

let me know if ths doucher posts up, it was like a grey brown colored conv. w/exhaust. It was an automatic as well

thats how about half of the races I see on the streets start...
