Does this count?

Some guy in a black 350z was getting on 270 with me from the watson road 44/270 ramp. The light there at Geyer he reved his engine so I was just like, meh, whatever. We got on the ramp and I am assuming he was shifting or something and all of a sudden I heard a horrible horrible high pitch metal on metal noise and I saw his car slow down. Needless to say, I continued on the ramp and onto 270. I didn't really see much of him after that.
Does it still count as a kill?
