I dont normally post these "kills" or whatever but this one is just too funny to pass up.

Its a long read but well worth it!

So it starts off with Tom Jesse and I pulling into quick trip to get some Dasani, Dew and whatever else. Well as we pull up these guys are "mean muggin" my car like crazy. We get out then they start "mean muggin" me and starring me down. Im like whatever and walk in. I walk out and the same thing happens. We get in the car and go to pull out of the parking lot and Tom goes "Give it a little chirp" lol so I do and they are like "ohhhhh" and making fun of me. I stop look back and say "wanna race" But I dont think just comprehended a chick saying that so they stumble with their words a little bit and then finally agree. I was hoping for the Mazda to come but the frickin JETTA pulled out to us.

TIME FOR THE "BIG RACE"

Well we pull out on the street and I dont normally do this!!! Anywho Hes doin about 30 so im like ok I will slow him down until 25 so I can pop it into first safely. Throw it into first ol boy honks it off I give him the head start shift out of first at about 7200rpms and, Im not going full throttle at all and "Granny shift" into second catch up to him and start to pass, then I hit third and it was BYE BYE for good.

NEXT race

We meet at a blinking red light. he honks it off and im not lying I launched at 1500rms and baby the hell out of it while hes slammin the gas. Still pulling ahead of him, there was a car in front of me so I did the smarter thing and stopped while he sped on.

LAST RACE

So we turned around and hit the red light again. This time I launched at about 3500rpms and just spun like a nut right in his ear lol it was funny, then I FINALLY get some ok traction and pull ahead by a car, then shift into second, mind you not taking my car to the full ability, pulling probably another car ahead then it was all over again.

Pulled back into QT and there friends came up and said "So who won?" Tom said the driver of the Jetta looked so disappointed it was awesome! and I replied with "me of course" Mr Jetta was like "well I have 700lbs worth of stereo equipment in the back" and I said "I have 2 more people in my car a jack a wheel dance shoes and tons of other stuff but good race man you almost had me...uhhhh!" The guy in the back of the Mazda goes "well I have en eclipse at home you can race" I simply respond with "Thats cute!" Then we decide to leave.

Good times but it was hilarious!

A slow one. I was never behind it long enough to figure out what it was lol.

Maybe an 03 jetta dunno if it was the 1.8 or not. he said he ran 14s so who knows

ya i think there are three: 1.8, 1.8T, and vr6. not sure but what i am sure of is that they are all underpowered bricks.

lol, dont forget the diesels. the 1.8t isnt the slowest car in the world, but they are still slowish.

Why do you say that? I have beaten my fair share of high 14 second cars on the street. you have to remember the track is WAYY different than thr street.

My car is "faster" on the street compared to the track.

Jettas are slow steph. I proved that driving one for a whole weekend. SLOW!!!

You forgot to add that they were revving at us like crazy even before you gave it a little chirp.
