Thats none of your business because we don't want ricers coming to this and doing E-Brake slides in the parking lot. :ohsnap:Pork Pie;83514 wrote:So what parking lot is this going to take place in?
Sound familiar?
Edit: It still seems like people in this thread need...

StlHondas should try and have people attend one of the St Louis auto-x events next year. It could be interesting with all the different cars that everyone has N/A, turbo, stock, modded all to hell.

sorry I missed that, I glanced at the tracks section but it looked like 99% of them were drag race associated so I don't frequent that topic much. I'd be up for a auto-x event or two. I'll pass on the GIR tracks days, GIR isn't very beginner friendly and I'm very beginner.N2HIFI;83527 wrote:welcome to three weeks ago... lol sorry we had this discussion among some of the group and there should be atleast 5-10 of us attending scca on sundays and the cpl of GIR track days

it may seem excessive but this is me and what drives me

I am doing some track days in 08' but just not at GIR I'll be going to Gingerman and Putnam Park, Gingerman is very beginner freindly (lots of run off) and I'll do Putnam after a few events at Gingerman, once I have an idea on how the car reacts at speed.N2HIFI;83536 wrote:blah .. how will you ever get any better if you dont try and find where your limit is? i cant wait to get on the track .. i know ill suck and i am a good driver, but i want to be a great driver and there is only on way to do it and thats to improve no matter what .. reasons why i am doing the following

Well regardless as to where it's at, it's not a sanctioned, nor license approved or tech approved "race" for that matter.
Have fun w/ the tickets issued. It's illegal anywhere performed unless waivers are signed, lots rented/approved, etc.
Also, do you know how LONG it takes to set up a course if cones are used? Registration usually opens at 8am and ends at 10am. During that time, and sometimes before, the course is being set up, and that's when the course is already mapped out.
Seriously, has ANYONE on here, other than Jsarino and I competed in this? I'm not asking that to be a dick, but come on kids, this isn't as simple, or LEGAL as everyone thinks.
I just don't want to see you guys get in a shit ton of trouble.

I do. Yes, I'm an asshole for saying that. But it's their decision and most of them are well over 20, so they know the consequences of a race, regardless of whether it's legal or not.SlowOne.5;83547 wrote: I just don't want to see you guys get in a shit ton of trouble.
