+1 jeff.... i would only drive an SS or Z28, but when ya think about it there close to the same thing....and were only talken bout the motor.

yes....under the different body styles they are the same. the ss pkg, firehawk pkg, and ws6 pkg, is just upgraded susp. a little better exhaust and a lid; which has proven not to be any faster than regular z28's or t/a's. besides those differences there is weight, the trans am is the heaviest, followed by the firebird, follow by the camaro. so i guess the ss camaro SHOULD be the fastest fbody out of the bunch.....but every car is different
