Yea, and he had none of that. Just a plane old intake, cat back exhaust, and some tires. And weld wheels, which are light.

Yeah they are like 1st gen dsms, you never know what you will get with them. They will either be pretty quick and healthy or turds that have been ran to crap for 20 years.

Well the 4.6 for the first couple years were pretty lame, not to mention I would take a 5.0 over the 4.6 anytime. The 4.6 will never impress me because the main competition, the LS1, is better in every way, shape, and form. Ford really dropped the ball with competing with Chevy until the F bodies stopped in 02.

Actually a stock 96-98 outperforms the 5.0 with less displacement. Not to mention a 4.6 block is WAY stronger than a 5.0 block. As for ls1's, they are great motors but they dyno close to the newest 4.6 DOCH cobra motor (NA). If you drop 4v heads on a 5.4 block you will surpass ls1 power no problem. Basically all the ford motors need now and days is equal displacement to overcome the Chevy's.
