Cobalt SS

Post by Sleepy Civic DX »

I was coming home sat and saw a silver cobalt ss with exhaust and I think an intake.

I followed him on the highway and had no intention of racing him until he dumped it and took off on the highway in front of me. I wanted to see what I could do so I quickly pegged my car. I caught up with him and wanted to pass him but we were at around 100mph and coming up on the turn from 270 to 55. When we got off of the turn we both punched it and I passed him by about 2 cars before let off around 100mph, he promptly flew by me.

Not a bad little run, a friend of mine at another dobbs has a cobalt ss and he always says that it is so much faster than my car...

Oh yeah there was a girl in the pass seat. Beating a car with the g/f in the passenger seat makes victory taste so much sweeter

your friend at dobbs may still be right, if his is supercharged and the one you raced wasn't, nice job though

one tried to mess with me going down lindburgh(between ballas and hwy40) a while back... we were in traffic, so there was no potential for a race, but he still lagged back so that he could lunge forward and show off his thweeeet thuperchargerer!!!1111 :fag:

no, there is the SS package for either coupe or sedan, then the SS supercharged package offered on the coupes:

I lied, in 05 the only 'SS' model was the supercharged coupe, in 06 they added the non-supercharged SS trim and changed the supercharged on to 'SS Supercharged'
SS nonsuperchaged= 171hp rating
SS Supercharged= 205hp rating

but, if you heard the belt, obviously it was blowing.
