killed a Probe gts with a cage

Was on 94 going towards maryland hts and I saw a blue probe GTS (didn't know they made a gts) with a cage, wheels, ect. Didn't think it was turbo I raced him with my windows up so i couldn't tell but on the back it just said DOHC 24valve.

He wouldnt get next to me to race so I took off on him when he was about 2 cars in front of me, then he hit it and i passed him. We raced a few more times after that. We only did one side by side tho, but I pulled on him a few cars every time. Still quick, prollly high 14's maybe, low 15's... We only race from 3rd, 4th and a bit of 5th. We only hit about 120. He's lucky because i would have just kept pulling, lol. It looked ok for a probe I guess.

Auto x maybe? Cage does a lot more than just protect ya.

i dont know if it was for handling or what. but had a cage and raced me. he wouldnt get next to me always took off infront of me... punk shit lol:glasses6:

Meh we had a few quick probes down here, but I'm guessing you didn't get to talk to him to see if he had the stock motor or something swapped like went from the KL03 to the KLZE or anything. All in all nice kill

My friend Chris told me he raced you... He was in a Probe Silver GTS with black stripes... He said you pulled away from him... From what I have seen, most GTS' have two racing stripes, but I could be wrong.

If it was on 94/364 yea that was him. I've never seen the car before. It wasn't bad looking for a probe at all.... to be honest I saw the cage and I thought it might have been boosted to all hell, so I was expecting him to pull on me

No the cage is more for Auto-Cross and such. Chris is a really nice guy. Congrats on the kill!

So is the car stock motor wise? I use to have a probe and there alot fo fun but I didnt have much luck with mine.

No, his motor is not stock.
