Yeah...if i had a snail or some spray i would of held up nicely. Gt's are turds, been there done that.

I find this thread amusing... When my 96gt was near stock I had civic's trying to race me all the time. Never did I lose to one of them... Yes a stock 96 GT comes with 215hp but it also has close to 300tq. A Mach is generally quicker than a cobra in a 5-speed version. Its the same motor with a solid rear axle. Those are mid/high 12 second cars with sticky tires and a good driver. The auto's aren't quite as quick. Your Honda has to be built to the tits to keep up with a Mach...

I would be willing to show you how much of a "turd" my gt is...

Very familiar with it autox'n and all. When your talking 1/4 times it don't mean shit though. If the car/truck is 5 tons and runs 12's it runs 12's. *sigh* your driving this to the ground im just saying i sat next to it til 3rd gear...is that impossible, it walked me after. But yeah my civic runs 12's on a bad day. Id give a fuck less about shitty mustangs, not my thing. And yes i stand by my word when i say gt's are turds for the power they have.

Impossible no, unlikely yes. Whatcha got done to your civic?

New GT's run around 13.5 with sticky tires. 99-04's can pull high 13's with sticky's. That is by no means a turd. Now if your talking about a stock foxbody auto with 150xxx on it, yes that is gonna be a slow turd :-p

*shakes head* im sure they can, but i dont go from a dig and top end i hand them their ass's. Havnt ran a modded mustang yet, im sure id get killed. As for stock from a roll no problemo.

no one gives a shit about what your mustang does with stickies on or the new mustangs do with stickies. im sure if freakchris hatch was on stickies he would pull a high 13. but we arent takling stickies we are talking about running on the street. and im sure all those civic's you ran where some nice shitty single cam motor....i put money down on freakchris he will dominate your rust stang

LMAO, who the hell are you? Im sure Chris doesnt need his internet forum friends to shit talk for him. And you would be a fool to put money down on that race as you don't even know what I have. Sticky tires as in drag radials, not slicks. Yep people run those on the street. When did I say I wanted to race anyhow? I am just stating facts. For what its worth I own a Civic myself, hence my love for Honda and me joining this site. But having built a Mustang I just think its funny when people talk trash about Mustangs being slow when they are driving Civics lol. Granted there are some very fast Civics out there, but I would put money on the fact that there are that many more faster Mustangs... Civic = a great fun economy car which can be made fast. Mustang = an American sports car.

i never said mustangs where slow.....im just saying i know his civic and i had an old buddy with a crvtec hatch that would whale on ls1.....but im sure chris would give u a run for your money with your mustang
