Raced a 5.0 stanger

coming home from dance I raced a red 5.0 fox body, it was pretty much a pointless race each time I had him about 6-10 cars and I wasn't even pushing the lude all the way. BUT on the last race ol boy took off and all of a sudden smoke was EVERYWHERE, he pulled over so I followed him to make sure everything was cool and he blew his head gasket....I felt bad for him but I guess thats what he gets for thinking hes a badass!

As we were standin on the side of the road I asked him what he had and he said header back exhaust, intake, and chipped. When he told me this I didnt think it would be that slow honestly but he was a cool guy.

Ahh good times.

no maam, imo the 85-85 gt front end was teh most sexness of all of the foxbodies, but I would drop a cobra powerplant in there as well... Mustangs (in particular the 66, 69, and 86) were the first cars I fell in love with; I almost had an 86 as my first car

but I was screwed out of it at the last minute... it even came with studded snow tires :rockon6rk:

Im sure it would have been a better race from a dig. Most mustangs excel in stoplight-stoplight action rather than highway.
