The most people don't know about it but I have been yelled at by numerous people for this failure point so I made sure a long time ago I was right in failing them.

yeah if they are blacked out they are illegal. However if the reflector can be seen its legal.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Hope this helps

nope. anything that obscures/distorts/impairs light is a fail-able offense. hence why there are no factory black tail lights lens on any cars.

Actually there are vehicles with tinted taillights lenses out there. (one of which being the Mclaren ASC mustang)

that vehicle was not made from the factory with tinted tail lights, that was an addition that mclaren put on.

My teg with 2-3 coats of NHT night shades. and 2 or so of clear. i was quick with it barely cleaned them before painting them (excited!!) no sanding at all, looking back... prob a good idea

and i did check it is illegal to do so, but 'knock on wood' been about 2 weeks now and no problems from the PO. even had my car broke into and a cop swarming it gettin license number and taking prints and he didn't say anything.

also used the night shades on the chrome badges i had as u can see "acura" , and " A" all smoked
