looks good i used to have an 87 s10 with a 4.3, it was pretty mean...
FYI: you can go to the junkyard and get a rear sway bar from a 96+ 4x4 s10 blazer and it will bolt right on to the truck, you have to drill 2 holes in the top of both shock mounts to mount the end links. you can also get a front sway bar from a 2wd s-10 blazer and put it up front (its bigger than the 2wd truck). makes the truck nice and flat in the twisties

Heres a couple more pictures. i had to pull it out to clean up the shop. ive decided not to pull the motor yet, just going to clean up the bay a lil bit and get rid of some shit i dont need.... (a/c, cruise...) but the picture of the front end has the sway bar connected on the passenger side. i still need to take it off. i cant run a front sway bar because of the arms im using n the front. but thats fine. the truck probably wont get drove except around town just for some cruisin action. im thinkin bout gettin some boss 304 rims for it. and i think i have settled for a color that is a candy orange. will have more pictures tommorrow as i get the heads and stuff set back in there and get that all tightened up and stuff. after i get the motor fired and decide if it sounds healthy. i will be startin body work.

Nice progress, i'd love to have one. Looks like this one just needs some TLC. I still think you should consider dropping something bigger in though!
