you dont want to paint it a different color but your going to take it down to primer and paint it flat black. just to paint it yellow again........(?)
also dont forget that if it stock yellow paint from that era it had lead in the paint....(i belive)
but ur opening up a world of shit doing a restore.....have fun with it tho...

thanks for the info kris. car was repainted in 1995. so the lead paint is gone.. just a shame the paint didnt hold up.. basically im just gonna blast the body, fix the rust, then repaint, with black decals
