getting a 1992 NSX next week...
yea so I have decided to go ahead and finish the cycle of owning every honda and find an NSX. you can get a pretty nice 91 or 92 for about 25-30 k with decent miles and maintenance. I am looking now and have the cash I think I found one a few hundred miles away that Im getting, but I thought Id look a little more for a better price.. I have a 89 crx I am keeping and using for my daily driver so I dont have to drive the nsx in bad weather/winter etc...

I had an 01 s2000 last year and liked it, but didnt keep it to long.. I bought my crx and gsr and did away with car payments like 3 months ago thinking that would make me happy to have to reliable nice cars with no payments, but of course not, hah. anyway I sold my gsr yesterday finally and plan on keeping the crx as I said for a daily driver.. you wouldnt believe how hard it is to find a nice nsx for around 25k.. they typically go for around 22-23 with 150k miles, 24-28 with around 100k and 28-35 with 50 -100k.. this is only 91-93's in good shape..
I am trying to find a high mileage one like 130-150k ish miles with good records/ shape and with good compression.. I am going to keep like $8k in the bank for a build and just drive it until the engine goes or gets close to it.. Id like to spend around $20 and put wheels and a few little things on it. so I can save that amount in the bank I noted. you can finance these things as a classical car at around 6-7% for 60-72 months.. as far as engine stuff and mods go www.scienceofspeed.com is the place to go for NSX's and s2000's. anyway I will keep you updated and I am planning on having one within 10 days or so.. if anyone has any tips on someone selling one around here please let me know.. (long shot but doesnt hurt)

well there are a lot of factors that play in on that, hah. 1 my insurance with an nsx and my crx is $120/month total full coverage(I dont make that much money). NSX's are 100 times more reliable, cheaper to fix, better performing, and 1/4 of the price of even a 1990 diablo. not that the diablo isnt a sweet car.. Acura actually was proving a point when they made the car to show that they could make a reliable car under $100k that out performed ferrari and lamborghini. finally its a honda and this site is stlhondas not stllambos

Make sure the trans isnt in the snap-ring range. if its a pre 1994
Look up on NSXPRIME.com, good forums for NSX owners.

If you look around you can find plenty of good ones in the low 20s. I've done so before.
