Speed Factory street outlaw civic sets the new record ET and mph

Looks like Speed Factory is king of the hill right now in street outlaw fwd with this 8.33 pass above.

Run prior to this was also a pass with 188mph trap speed.

Previously Miller held the record with a 8.37 and Tony @ T1 was on his ass with a 8.38. Previous MPH record was 186 by Tony @ T1.

Crazy fast... might just see some 190+ mph trap speeds this year! Not to mention the race to the 7's is on with IFO putting up 10k cash to whomever does it first (by IFO rules and at IFO event of course).

thats crazy. nice to see another name at the top, more competition should help someone break that 7 sec mark sooner!

More so since they have flown under the radar for the most part IMO.

I honestly think 7's will be hit this year. I think with what tony is already getting out of his new setup with the integra he will be the first. This is great for the sport tho. It's nice to see another name other than the big two. I feel the sport fell off for a long time and is making a good turnaround and sport compact drag racing is once again growing. I really miss the way sport compact drag racing used to be. The stands would be full of people at events and classes were so big events took 3 days to complete. I remember when the first Honda broke into the 9's and when the first all motor Honda hit 9's

They have, I mean they have been running well for a while but nothing like the attention Tony and Miller have had focused on them.

There will be now though.

Good to see another competitive car in the class... some new life to the class and shut up the cry babies on national forums quiet about how the class is dead, not competitive, only for the blessed Tony/ Miller, blah blah blah.
