You can make power, torque may he lacking, bit ive seen a few badass d series put down descent hp, you just have to be smart with how its put together, tuning etc

Yea decent power. Now how much would you make with one or the other if you boosted it? I've seen what f22 does on boost but that's not what were talking about. That's still more displacement than a d so that kinda defeats that argument.

Yep.

I would get walked on by type r swapped hatches with my old coupe with a d16z6/greddy kit @ 10psi.

If its an LT1 less than 450whp with just a turbo slapped on..

If its an LS1 475whp MAX without valvespring upgrades and fuel upgrades... And thats at 8-9lbs.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Hope this helps

You do understand that if you put the same money into building a turbo D that this guy put into his built na H series you would have a 350-400 hp d series motor that would give you a run for your money in a 500hp camaro (traction being the deciding factor)

Ive had stock b's and turbo'd D's and for power vs money id take a turbo D all day long (mine made 250hp/230tq to the wheels on a stock bottom end on 10psi) now if i was building a fun street car and back rd car i'd take a bolt on B series all day. Different set ups for differnt folks and use's but to say a turbo'd wouldnt make more power then a bolt on b series is not correct.

Very true.

Though the same amount of money put into that camaro as was put into this H then the camaro would easily be over 500whp. But thats off subject. Its comparing apples to oranges.

While NA builds can be fun it takes more money to make typically less power...

right rich and i agree ls1 over all for the most part, hence while im doing a lsi swap into my new 240 shell, but i was just debating the turbo d vs na b series .. both have their respective arguments and places.. honestly comparing either to a v8 powered car is really pointless in almost everybody's book lol

but now we talk a fully built h22 in a 2000lb hatchback ..with a hit ... that would be super fun IMHO
