New trend or ruined valve cover??
Reminds me of the metal etching some artists will do for the harley crowd.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Hope this helps

LOL, I agree. I was doing some other grinding work and the grinder slipped and hit the valve cover leaving a bunch of gashes, so I decided to grind the whole thing for shits and giggles. I was going to have to replace it anyway.mike93hatch;244192 wrote:ruined valve cover

Id spray it black, red or some random color, then lightly sand to where all the deeper cuts are still colored and all the top parts are polished.

There aren't really any deep cuts, just at a different angle and the flash caught it. I might straiten them out and try what you said. Its already ruined, cant hurt it more.Kolk1;244232 wrote:Id spray it black, red or some random color, then lightly sand to where all the deeper cuts are still colored and all the top parts are polished.
