Grounding kits?

Post by Nat X »

Does anyone have any experience with grounding kits? I'm considering getting the Sun Automotive grounding kit. Also I know some guys just make there own out of big automotive speaker wire. I drive a 97 integra gs, thanks for reading.

Your not going to get any real gain out of a grounding kit unless you are running a large stero, and then it will help with variable draw. If you are having grounder issues then upgrade the existing grounds in place.

they are a big waste of money UNTILL you run out of normal mods to do, they have been shown to help find lost power sometimes, but usally only 2-3 hp MAX not avg. Also remeber hondas have probley one of the best ignigtion systems in the automotive industry, so the chances of it making any difference is almost nil.

My sugestions would be to just upgrade the 2 main engine grounds with 8g or 4g and call it a day, and think about it do you really need all that extra wiring clutering up a already cluttered E-bay?
