The obvious answer here is no. Granted he is fabbing and redoing a lot, but the core of the car and the engineering that went into it is still there.luvmyhondas;226329 wrote:wouldn't it have been easier to just build a tube chassis to start with? Hell, he's cut almost everything of the chassis anyway and modified anything that's left. Why not just build it all from scratch?
cool build tho.

the engineering for what?...the seat mounts, the dash? almost the entire car other than the passenger cabin has been nearly cutoff! The suspension mounts have been completely re-engineered, the body will have to be redone in the rear (due to the rear suspension being moved 2 inches...I doubt the stock quarters will line up), he's cutoff almost everything but the frame 'stubs' front and back. Hell, he even cut up a very 'well engineered' rear suspension to make room for the drive train. So again, I ask (just for conversation's sake) what is left that is engineered so well that it couldn't have just been incorporated into a tube chassis? VIN? Floor pans? Doors? Roof panel?...LMK I'd love to hear your opinion.
and before anyone gets their underpants in a bunch, I'm just asking...not trying to incite an argument. Don't take this post as a hostile attack on Sikoffaln. It's my opinion vs his and we are both allowed to have them...I'm just trying to see where he's coming from.
