the fiesta st in europe is a pretty bad ass little car, I hope ford gets a clue and sells them here.

I like it alot, even though I am a Honda guy... you cannot deny that some of the focus's are pretty cool, unfortunately they are all overseas models.

There is rumor that we might see the european ST trim models (focus and fiesta) make it here or some close variation, also rumored was we could possibly see the RS focus here as well. I personally think we will never see an RS here despite the pretty well founded rumor that have surfaced since svt and teamrs divisions have be consolidated together now. I think I would buy an RS in a heartbeat, I kinda like the look of them and the performance is there.

I quit my job at a ford dealership not to long ago and before i did they were lining out ship dates for the focus RS so hopefully we see it over here.

I hope they do, I am just skeptical. I wonder what pricing is going to look like on an RS though. Damn probably a 30k+ dollar focus... ouch.

Whats funny about this is that the reason why Subaru left the WRC was because of ' “quick deterioration of the global economy” as its justification for pulling out of the rally circuit.' Ford gets a bail-out and keeps doing the racing instead of fixing their own problem, while Subaru cuts out the cost of racing to save money.
