nope you are....j/k its a matter of opinion basically.
But my opinions are based on fact. Look at Jay Z's two biggest hits Big Pimping and Jigga What. Jigga What was produced by a little know back then producer Kayne West and Big Pimping had UGK. Without those two acts those songs would of got no air play.

And Guru gets no love outside of the inner circle of hip hop. When is the last time heard a Gangstar or Guru song on the radio or MTV?

Jay didn't just walk into the rap scene he free styled his way in. He won tones of battles when he was younger. He's not some bum he has 8 Grammys 8 mtv musica awards and has 10 platinum albums out of his 11. The only one that isn't platinum is bp3 which will be shortly. He's the reason we have def jam, roc-a-fella, and roc nation. Also Nat the 2 songs you named were both produced by timbaland

This was my point. Sure he gets attention within the actuall hip hop "circle". But compared to Jay Z he gets nothing. Not sayin Jay didn't earn it, but I feel that Guru is distinct and talented enough to have a wider fan base.

I'm not saying Jay Z doesn't deserve his fame, he has worked hard for it. I just think he sucks
