The race at 7:20 is pretty odd. How the hell does a Zo6 hang with a built LS3 car? That tells me there is nothing better than the LS7 right now! Well the LS9... but shit give me the LS7 and 1 or 2 snails.

I think that if the Z06 guy adds a little bottle and the proper heater then everyone of the cars in the vid get raped. AMIRITE?

Some good racing, road looks nice.

Take notes - this is how it's done. I wish I could find me a road like this anywhere w/in 30 mins of my house (note: DAYLIGHT RUNS!!!!).

The problem is there are no details concerning how the bottom end is "built." Texas Speed 402-408 stroker packages start with a new GM iron block and the customer pretty much picks every moving component from there. You could have a $6000 "stronger than stock" motor or a $9000+ race crank/rods - high compression pistons etc etc etc. The heads and intake manifold tell me that car was built on the more economical side of things. That being said, all that plus a 600+ cam is probably good for 500+ horsepower, and the outcome of that race came down to everything else (weight, gearing, driving, etc.).

I am completely pulling this out of my ass, though.

LOL - shit - you got more knowledge than me. I am a fan of LSx performance, but only from a distance. I have no desire to own any Vette that I have ever seen... but I enjoy any car that performs.

Good info tho - I wasn't aware that they were so scalable from factory. That one def came to the show for sure and sounded like it wasn't breaking a sweat.
