some pics of the build. he bought a z6 from the junkyard, put it in and ran good but burned a little bit of oil. it gradually got worse until the cylinder barely had any compression. he was going to boost the stock z6, he has most of the stuff but now its gonna have to be built..d16z6, 400hp, yada yada.. guess he wants to be like his big brother.

i just got the block back today from getting bored out so should go together this week..

Where did you get the FJ spec rods from? And are those oversized vitaras?

ummm and? old post, they make oversize vitaras now and longer rods to bump compression jackass. srp pistons are still junk imo.

from FJ ...... LOL...they are custom length to bring the piston to the top of the cylinder instead of 5mm or so below it. bumps compression from 6.5:1 to 8.5:1 ~~

yes theyre 75.5mm...obviously because i said i had the block bored.

hey if you hit up d-series.org and talk to fjt dist. they can give you all the specs needed.
