Those bigger dogs are Bully dogs and they are naturally big and some owners show them, some owners also make them into pulling dogs. None of them really looked like they were on steroids.Tyler;180385 wrote:What is with all the dogs on steriods?
If you can see this take a look at these dogs, all of them are natural.

You might remember a pup from turner and hooch but they get to about between 170 and 220 in wieght, were bred for war and very loving and caring dogs. They were also know as french mastiff's, but I like those pit/terriers

That's because they aren't pits people THINK they are, they are a bully breed. The dogs at the end of the film are REAL American Pitbull Terriers.Tyler;180448 wrote:Wow, not used to seeing Pits like that.
Everyone just puts all terriers that appear as "pits" in the pit category when there is a big difference between pits and amstaffs and bullies.

Aww, everybody leaves out the poor staffies. Staffies look almost exactly like amstaffs but are significantly smaller. Their temperment is also quite different, but they still get lumped in with the pits.99preludesh;180456 wrote:That's because they aren't pits people THINK they are, they are a bully breed. And a fun quiz that almost got me. I almost went with the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog but thought it's color and size seemed off. Got it right my first try but I am a bit of a pit bull fan.

First try. I almost went with the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog too, until I saw the answer. Im in love with these dogs. Between my girlfriend's immediate family, they have 6+ pits, and not a single one is the stereotypical pit that attacks everyone. They have drawn blood, but that is just because their nails were too long and scratched me when jumping up on me as i walked in the door. They are the best dogs in my eyes.dclduke;180508 wrote:Aww, everybody leaves out the poor staffies. Staffies look almost exactly like amstaffs but are significantly smaller.
