Project OEM compression

Well about eight months ago I had put in a cometic head gasket because I blew an oem and had future plans for boost. Well I started school and relized Im broke so boost is pushed back a bit. So finally I got off my lazy ass and tore it apart to put a oem back in till I graduate and I figuerd I would take pics of the tear down for yall. Sorry the pics are huge I couldnt help it.

you should have got a higher comp head gasket for now and make a few more hp.

They makes those? I figured that the pistion was damn near hitting the head anyways lol at 11 to 1 thats pretty close.

yeah they make them. the factory ones are 3 layer they make ones that are 1 and 2 layer i wouldnt put one on a stock motor tho

hey just rock the stock for now...a running car is better then waiting on parts....
